No. It was yellow. I think??

The school (most may have) has a bus app which tracks the location of the bus and then sends an alert (to wives) when he gets on in the morning, delivered to school and then when when exits the bus after school.

My wife chauffeured our other five kids to and from school.

Yep, it's crazy the amount of tracking, etc in play today.

I grew up in another state, and while there were of course school buses, it was not like it is here, with the expectation that there would be bus service available to each and every student and that the default mode of transportation was bus. Even when my kids were in high school, I think we had to do something to "opt" them out of bus service if they were driving, etc.

Five !!! My gosh, man, you've been through the wringer ! :D
We didn't have our first child until I was 32, and the second (and last) finally arrived six years later.
Two teenage girls put me through the wringer, but I lived to tell the tale.

Prepping for a cabin trip today..... the hammock calls to me

Our school district serves a population of about 35000. All bused schools. No walking except high school. $$$$$ Dont get me started. Lol

The thing that stands out to me as I look back on my bus riding youth is that no matter what bus I rode the radio was always tuned to WOWO.

Yep, I suspect strongly, like all things school related, it has to do with federal funds based on attendance, etc.

The lot at our High School was full. The streets were full of parked cars. The surrounding neighborhood was full of parked cars. Everyone had a car. It was the way of things. And it was a good way. In good weather there was over 100 motorcycles as well. Great times. Long live the beach boys.
