You might have your wife read this: https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/keto-crotch-called-out-as-stinky-side-effect-of-popular-diet :scared:

Like you, I'm not a diet guy. The only healthy long term diet is to reduce calories. Preferably by reducing intake plus exercise. Most fad diets aren't good for you long term as they cause different side effects or health issues. That said, I need to start practicing what I preach and cut my portion sizes and get off my butt... :):

That exactly how I feel, but while at the hospital they talked to me about how hi my blood pressure is, so I'm trying to be more open to a diet... my average is around 155/105

My understanding is that some of the fad diets are good for a start anyway. Help you to get some results and then you just need to maintain. If you're having BP issues, immediate gains are important.

Being a diabetic and really wanting to live I watch my intake. Well CKW (hereafter known as the fun police) watches it. No fast food past a breakfast sandwich on occasion. Portion size is very important. We live in the land of plenty so there is plenty to eat. Pasta's are a killer. Everything in moderation. Screw the fad diets. They are not the way to go. This is from the mouth of multiple dietitians we have spoken to. CKW has her own issues so we are well in tune with these things.

Stop the soft drinks and boost drinks. Nothing but concentrated crap. I cut down on my milk intake as well.

So a 50:1 ratio ! I actually own (2) Browning .22 handguns, and an older Remington .22 semi-auto rifle. It's not that I don't enjoy shooting .22's (or any round!), but the bigger cartridges just jazz my a** :D

I’m with you MM. I love shooting everything but there is something about the higher powered stuff that makes me happy. Maybe it’s having the ability to direct that much energy accurately.

I'm not doing the diet in its entirety. I'm testing the waters with this coffee thing. I have been watching what I eat more than before. Not perfect but not as bad as living in the barracks.. lol

I’ve eliminated any soda and most other sugary drinks from my diet. That’s resulted in an increase in beer consumption though. I’ve also eliminated milk. I feel a lot better without it.

Lately, I’ve taken to drinking decaf tea after I’ve finished a pot of coffee in the morning. It keeps the shaky hands a bit more steady and I can vary what I drink. I swear though, any old crap can be swept up, dried and then sold as herbal tea. I tried one that tasted like grass clippings. Heck, most of them taste like grass clippings.

I got to try some of MM's famous GINSENG tea the other day and it was amazing!!! He hand picks it and processes it himself and brews it. From earth to cup. It deffinately boosted my mind and body.
