Picked up the large ring broom today, someone did a good job refurbishing this old soldier. 115 years old and still shooting.

A barrel reline, refinish and respring, regrip, just like new. It must have been trash when whoever did the work started.

I bought my Model 27 in ~1980. No intent to let it go.

My ex-FIL was the armorer for the local PD and when the department changed duty guns, my ex-wife bought his 4" 686 and gave it to me. REALLY nice trigger on that gun.

Knowing that I would will it back to her, I decided to go ahead and give it to her a couple of years ago so my daughters wouldn't have to deal with it.

I enjoyed shooting my 6" Model 27 more so it wasn't a big deal but you guys are sort of making me regret it. Stop that!!!

I bet that all of us have a 'one that got away ' story. Mine was a nickel S&W model 19 snubnose.

Mine is a pair of s w 64's one blued one stainless $125 each in perfect condition. 3 years ago.
I just didnt like revolvers at the time and hesitated

My only take on it is the Punisher backplate must turn you into Frank Castle. Otherwise I'm as confused as you!

Fish gills were a limited run. Some folks pay a premium for them. The G23 and G19 models bring a little more than the G22 and G17 ones.

Hmm. Just gb'd it... they seem to be starting bids at about 500... price has gone up since I last saw them a year ago.. interesting, I suppose it just not my cup of tea.
