Well either would work I guess but really just a bag for the sear cage as it seems to be the one piece that gives folks fits.

I lost my first V-spring before I got the sear cage out and didn't know I had a piece missing until I went to put it back together.

On the other hand, a few days ago I got a V-spring back in on the first try so easily that I studied it for a bit to convince myself it was in correctly.

I hope one day I’m confident enough to work on my own guns. Until then I’ll take them to someone else. I don’t have anyone around me who works on guns and definitely don’t trust trying to learn from YouTube videos at this point.

I’d love to just hangout and observe some of you guys take them apart and install new parts. :yesway:

Before you take it down, go ahead and buy a few [STRIKE]F*** Me springs[/STRIKE] FPB Lifter V-springs. The trigger return spring can be launched as well.

You will also need to make or buy a slave pin for the sear cage assembly. One end should be slightly rounded or chamfered.

I have a very diverse selection of punches in every diameter/configuration that do a great job as slaves.

I'm in a bad mood today and I have a migrane. The two may be related. Children might end up duct taped to the wall

Easy my friend. I had that yesterday evening. Felt like :poop: and irritable. The terrorists found my limit which was not hard to do. I spent a good while apologizing and hugging. But I understand.

I tend to loose the plunger springs on 1911's. I full know they will be popping out and sometimes I actually catch them. I have found a few down on the floor by the bench just under the welder.
These days if I pay attention (:lmfao:) I will aim them.

The Shadow 2 stays with me.
I pulled it out of the safe and fondled it a bit.
Just too nice of a piece of machinery to let it go.
I don't "have" to sell it anyways, so I won't.

....so....if anyone has a nice used car or truck for under $15,000 (preferably WAY under), send me a PM with details.
