I'm with you on weight and with TT on the rest "I just want short take up and a clean break and short tactile reset"

The key to a good trigger for me is a firm wall and clean break. I’d rather have a good wall and break at 6# rather than the bucket of mush I had with my Glock triggers when I tried the - connectors. I think the perfect pull weight for me is right about 4.5#. To that add a short, tactile reset and I’m a happy camper for EDC.

Co witness is bull**** in my opinion. If I have a red dot on it, and it goes out, I'm betting I can still hit you. An Aimpoint tube is still a ghost ring sight.

My eyes suck, and get worse every year. Close to medium range stuff, if you can point at it, you can shoot it. The plate rack reinforces this, to me. To run it fast, you don't aim your gun, you just point it.

This is where I’m at too. After the vision issue a couple of years back, I started to point shoot and am still pretty comfortable just point shooting. When I start looking for the sight, the groups tighten a tad but the time goes up.

There are times at the range when I’ll remind myself to just feel the gun and point and I’ll outshoot myself when I’m using the left eye, right eye closed style with sights.

Aging can suck in a lot of ways but it really takes a toll on the eyes

You need a DW Valor commander in 9mm. I am thinking of selling mine. You will make Hopper jealous.

CM found out I had a external extractor 9 mm 1911 and took me off his Christmas card list. What would he do if I had two?

I have FO front sights on all my CZs for this very reason. So far they really help. My Vigil has tritium up front with a blacked out rear, and I'm liking this setup a lot as well.

I am going this way too. After a couple little project, next it is several new front sights. Back matters less but the front FO is great.

I’m pretty sure your project list is getting longer.

4.5# is a perfect EDC choice.

I swapped the standard sights onto the 509T in place of the overly tall suppressor sights. That took care of my problem. All is well now. I don't know why I didn't think of doing this before. I want to thank FN for putting anti-seize on the original sights, made removal a breeze.

Finally caught up today on the INGO chat. Time to head off to bed and be way behind again come morning.

This has pretty much been me since joining in on the chat here. I'm either working, at my internship, or doing homework the majority of the time.

I did manage to watch a bit of the baseball game tonight when a coworker had it set up in the back on his tablet, so that was nice! I'm not super into sports, but do enjoy baseball and hockey. I've never been able to get into football despite wanting to - it just stops too much for me and I don't understand all of the rules.
