Hello Kids : what is up??

Been shifting thru all of this newest Covid thang and am much better...albeit voice is still off and still deep coughing but productive.

Am in Skinned Knee as I type this.

Gonna bring my grandson home with me this week to jump around with his cousin - they are best friends.

Then back to Iowa for the delivery - mkay more sMiles I guess.

Was 103 coming over yesterday and around 93 today.

Lot'sa thunderheads with all that heat and heavy south winds yesterday - but very little rain when we passed by it.

Prolly had some decent sized hail in it too.

    Everyone have a good evening.!!!

This afternoon we began building display cases for my Dad's Marine uniforms. I taught my daughter how to use a compound miter saw. She already had some measuring skills, but we made improvement there too. We also had the help of my retired neighbor (Army, Vietnam Veteran, Agent Orange Cancer survivor). He was a great help and yes it was muggy out.

These boxes are only roughed in at this point. They are 24x36 and framed with 1x3 select pine and have real glass. These are stupid expensive pre-assembled and I wanted something more personal for Dad. And I'm a skinflint too. My older sister is going to help with final touches and possibly some custom woodburning on it too.
