Yep, he's done like 20 years of gun transitions in the last 18 months or so. It is a bit difficult to keep up with where he is in the maze on any given day.
It is fun to watch though. He has like two weeks left until school starts, so I'm expecting about 2 years worth of transactions. It's like the Tim McGraw song, "Live like you were dying". I enjoy his enthusiasm.

His numbers are rookie numbers compared to mine, that's why I understand a little more than most what he's after. Although, he atleast is doing comparisons on paper and has a somewhat logical reason for moving stuff along. Me on the other hand, there is no logic, my interests change daily.......sometimes hourly.

Agreed. Reading some of his postings (and comments from others in the threads) about guns that I'd never check out on my own has been... interesting. He's definitely leaning in.

You guys need to talk him into doing video gun reviews... now that would be interesting.

I'm just not sure how much one can really learn about a gun/platform at the rate he turns them, sometimes I suspect before even field stripping them.

It's on the list, believe me there is temptation.

Side note, I just had a thought while walking to the fridge for another beer.
Should I trade my last Acog towards a Shadow 2 at my LGS on Tuesday or not.
    Hmmmmm......................
I would be without a magnified optic on any of my rifles, but I would have a Shadow 2.
    More hmmmm...........
