I swapped the metal grips from the 75 shadow TAC II and put them on the 75 SP01 Tactical and visaversa. I now am possitive that for my hands the palm swell grips are for me which is good because thats what I have coming in the G10 grips I ordered the other day.
So this swap today is temporary although I LOVE the CZ rubber grips. Always have loved rubber grips on pistols including a Mouse Custom 1911 I got from CM a year or so ago that has partial rubber grips. (I no longer have any relation to time. It's gone from my brain, so if I say something happened 2 weeks ago and it was 2 days ago, it's just me :): )
Anyways I took a picture for you guys after the swap.

Good, well-thought-out photo, TT ! :yesway:
Like you, grips are so important. If it doesn't feel right, I'll never bond with a pistol.

Nice video Dean. Add this pistol to the list of things I now must have that I didn't know I needed 5 minutes ago.

It is a good video .... thanks, Dean !
However, I just don't think that the pistol is for me.
I just love the down n dirty chunky monkey known as the RAMI.

The car battery goes on one end. The dripping water goes on the other.

I, also, think that it looks like a human torture device, and not a mouse trap. I think that the receiver sticks his fingers in the holes on the end, and the torturer pulls up on the wires ..... causing screaming !!!

    1. I'm looking forward to meet Mr. Rami.
    2. In my dreams, perhaps someone will give a range invite that has one.
    3. I spent time at the range this summer who had 1 or 2 CZs and they had a Rami but didn't car for it, so that did peak my curiosity since it receives such love here, from some.

    Picked up another handgun today.
    SAR K2 in .45acp.
Some of you know this model, Rusty had one for a short while and I believe 88 has it now.
I picked one up today, kinda on a whim.
I might run a few rounds through it and see if it's gonna be a keeper or not.
For those that don't know, this is a Turkish made double stack DA/SA .45acp that holds 14 rounds and uses the same mags as a Para P-14, in fact the factory SAR mag is made by Mec-Gar. This one feels just like the one Rusty had, a surprisingly good and smooth trigger both in DA and SA.
One of those not so well known, often overlooked kind of guns.

    1. It truly just never ends, does it?
    2. I do this on my "lower level," and it is good to see even the "big boys" who have half-a-million dollars invested in their guns, will buy yet one more.
    3. I feel better about myself, and my "weakness."
