Great pics, Tim ..... thanks for putting those up. They take me back ..... back to a time when CM and I were most likely acting like hoodlums ! ;)

Here's a modern story for ya, CZ'ickos : Friday was a dog-day afternoon, when lying in the hammock in the woods was the most ambitious thing I wanted to do. While perusing a sales flyer on my phone from Grab-A-Gun, my brain grew weak(er) as I studied one of the offerings. They had a great price on a Sig P220 Stainless Elite. This one was the TALO exclusive with an alloy frame, instead of steel. Otherwise, it's got all the bells and whistles ...... SRT trigger, Sig night sites, and fabulous custom wooden grips. Being that I like to carry all of my handguns, this version was particularly desirable for me, as it's about 7 oz. lighter than the steel frame. I ran to the cabin, snatched the credit card from my wallet, and BLAMMO .... I pushed the 'Buy' button.

Hopefully, next week, this will show up. I'm excited. BTW .... it's my first .45 ACP ! Now, I'll have to buy some bullets.
Meet my soon to be barbecue gun .... in a manly-man caliber (so that Hoosier45 doesn't chop off my legs !!! )

Congrats MM, that's a beautiful gun :yesway:

I have never shot a P220, but I've always wanted to. I have 2 P229's in .40 and they soak up the round (and .357 Sig) pretty well. I imagine that will be a fun gun to shoot, while looking magnificent as a BBQ gun!

Sitting out on the deck enjoying the quite.
Thinking about the list I need to make as to final tuning on several pieces that have been built this year.

    Happy Fathers Day.

I went through my house repairs list this morning and cleaned it up a bit. Wayyyyy too much stuff, granted most of it's minor.
Some of the things require being in the attic, not a good weekend for that.

Hope everyone has a good day.

You're up early, WT. How's your head?
74° here. Cereal in and coffee made. Gonna split wood for a while til it gets hot.

Headache has mostly eased, but now my back is out. I helped carry an old grill across the yard to a trailer to be disposed of the other day and it has come back to haunt me :(

Oh well, trying to figure out things to do that cause the least amount of pain. Might be a good day to prop myself up in a chair and clean a couple guns.

Nice! I had a P220 that I really liked. Sold it when I decided I had to have an M1. Congrats.

Moving was the hard part. Now that you are in the house, you don't have to rush to get everything on the list done. Especially the purely cosmetic things.
