Put the 97B back up in the classy's. Hasn't seen the light of day in a while. Someone will get more enjoyment out of it than me. Have some other safe queens that deserve good homes, but waiting for demand to catch up with supply.

Spent some time last night gathering info and ordering mags for the 10 up-grade to a 2011.
It is not so much the cost of the build. It is the accessory's. (6) 126mm double stag mags with 100mm aluminum extensions..................$490.............:faint:

I have 7 mags for the 6" 2011 but they are 140mm. To long.

So...I was going to complain about $190 for 250 458 socum cases. Guess I best keep that to myself...

Good range trip with 88 this morning. Had to test out the trigger on my backup P10c. The HBI triggers are easy enough that I replaced the trigger in both guns myself (which is saying a lot as I am NOT mechanically inclined at all). Looking forward to getting some training this year with these.

As I said. Support of a specific platform is the spendy part. I had $3500 in the last 10mm custom and it is so worth every dime. The mags for it were $40 plus each. Then I see allen’s be custom 2011 and the  started. Couldn’t sleep. Cold sweats. Shivering in a dark corner sucking my thumb.
So I make the trip out to his shop. We ordered the 2011 frame and will use the slide. I ordered the internals. Allen will fit the new frame. I will do the blending and fit up all the internals. Then back to him for some color after some mods to the slide.

This will be the most expensive piece I own. Close to $5500 in it but I have the frame (single stack 1911) and everything except a slide to build another 1911 in .45 ACP. It will be another full on custom.

    Yes, I have a mental disorder. :n00b:

Being new to the CZ and with limited to no knowledge of their lineage; what makes it transitional?

The appeal of the transitional CZ is that it functions like the pre-B with no firing pin safety but it also sports all of the improvements to be B like the late style sight cuts. For 75s, it's probably the best of the bunch since you can use late style mags and sights, but have the ability to have that beautiful pre-B trigger feel.

Not my favorite range trip. I got only two rounds off with the strong hand which was enough to tell me that the shoulder is not ready yet. Those were .22lr no less. I ended up running 50 rounds of 9mm through the P10C and another 50 of .22lr through a Cadet kit in the P07, all weak hand. I did better than I expected shooting lefty but I sure do appreciate the full ambidextrous nature of the P10C now.
