Flush toilet - yea - high on the list of requirements.

Finally a nice day for the grandson's baseball practice! Office work, appointments and meeting up with WT means tomorrow MUST be a range day!

I hope that your friend lived a long, and pleasant life, CM.

He did. He is still among the breathing but it is his time. Today was friends day. His remaining time will be spent with family. I was blessed to be on the friends list.

Spread a lot of material on the garden. Peat/humus manure mix. Plus sand in the onion beds. Ist deep pass with the tiller is done blending everything. Man that beat me up....:):

I got the garden all tilled up also. Made a total of 3 passes to get everything incorporated into the soil...A 5 foot tiller on the back of the Kubota is a wonderful thing...:rockwoot:BTW, does anyone have a A.R.M.S. 40 rear sight they would want to part with?

I have one more pass to make over the entire area when I get some more sand and humus. It is all fluffed up now so it will not be like riding a bucking bronco.

Not a really productive day for me. Did the usual Saturday stuff, then ran a load of stuff out to the storage unit and another one to Goodwill. Finished the day with a couple of movies with the wife and a glass of 4 Roses Single Barrel. Good stuff. Tomorrow is brake day for the wife's car. It's only the fronts, so it should go pretty quickly with no parking brakes to deal with. New rotors, pads and hardware are on hand and I'm expecting it to be pretty typical for a brake job.

I picked my old G23 up off of WTB this morning. I put 100 rounds through it and then brought it home for a deep cleaning. It's back in the safe again and will have a new trigger on order by the end of the week. I also put a set of yellow Trijicon HDs on my DW A2 Commander tonight too. That yellow front sight really pops for me. Can't wait to get it to the range and check the alignment. Been shooing poly .45s too much lately and need a little 1911 time.

About 30 minutes ago, a large branch came down on the roof of the cabin. I awoke from a deep sleep, and instinctively grabbed my G23 from the side table. With it's old M6 on the rail, it gave me relief ..... but I don't think that the branch was worried ! :):

Thanks WT for putting the first Glock in my safe.

I was worried but didn’t wake up with a rash or any noticeable ill effects. Will pick up a 357 sig barrel for it soon.

You're quite welcome. It was good meeting up with you and chatting yesterday :yesway:

It's usually my cats that get me woke up like that. Wake up, grab my gun and open the bedroom door to find both cats chasing each other around

Guess it helps me prepare for the real thing... :):
