    Morning all.

What does everybody think of the SP01 Phantoms? I was handling one yesterday at the gun shop, and was really tempted to bring it home.
Birds had one years ago that really left an impression on me.

I love mine, has had the Wizard treatment done to it....:rockwoot:

I've got 2 other SP01s that still haven't made that journey yet. To many damn doctor bills. :spend:

But what a beautiful day out there. Just sent a couple hundred rounds down range, with the wife.

The kids are all antsi to shoot them. They are aware I will be dead and buried when they get them. But they will be able to shoot them. Its a solid way to get them to the range with me...:)

Ha, that is a good way to get some company at the range. They all look good. I like the Bubby gun the best myself.

Did the load out for SGE today. Only forgot Barb's eye pro. Double checked zero on two rifles. One needed help, one was GTG. Figured out that the Magpul PRS I traded for won't work on my Savage, even with the adapter. I mean, it physically will attach but there's no way is gonna let you set the scope up and still use the cheek riser. So it's back to stock for that one and my Oracle .308 gets a PRS. Now it needs a longer heavy bbl threaded for suppressor.
    .;)

Mine is fantastic. It has all the Cajun goodies (of course) including the accurized bushing and TFX sights. It has a light/laser on the rail and with 19 round mags is my permanent home defense gun. Well, until bills make me sell it. ;)

    Morning folks! :coffee:

The dog got me up early this morning with a bad coughing fit. He's almost 17 and I think that he's winding down rather quickly in the last couple of months. This is the part of dog ownership that really sucks. But, he still seems happy and moves around pretty well, so I'll take him to the vet this morning and hopefully, everything is going to be Ok for a while longer.

Sorry to hear that Tim. Same thing happened to my cat when he hit 17. Not an easy thing to go through with them :(

Thanks guys. He's sleeping again and isn't wheezing as much, so maybe he cleared whatever it was out of his system. We'll have to see what the vet thinks.

Finally back from Stevens Point, WI. Sux that i can't bring beer back with me.

I'm confused, why can't you bring back beer? I do every time I go up to Point and environs north. Just ask CameraMonkey, since it is usually for him. Or did you fly? Last year when I came back I had a cooler of cheese, pastries, etc, and almost a variety case of Wisconsin's finest.
