How long do these stupid stoppages on 37 south of Martinsville last? Been here 30 minutes already.

That's an awful stretch of road with the construction on it now. I have taken to going down to Martinsville, then jumping onto Old 37 and running through Yellowwood Forest to get to Bloomington. It brings you out at the base of the hill on the main road into B-town.

I have to gear up for a major project tomorrow.
Then I can sit down and assemble #2 today...

Just got the 2 in progress pieces back from AllenM this morning. Springer Loaded when it was new.
Spent the afternoon fitting this one up.
It has a Kart barrel and bushing.
Flat wound recoil spring.
10-8 sights.
EGW ignition controls. Trigger is set to 4lbs for break in.
Mag well is a 2 piece and the brand escapes me....
VZ Frag's
Pearce grip enhancement.

AllenM removed the roll marks. 2 tone ceracote.

Flat topped with some nice serrations.

Minimal ball cut and relieved the bottom of the slide. Hard to see in these pics.

#2 is done. This will most likely be my last custom build until I get through the upcoming medical situation with the spouse.

Springer loaded. Parts line up close to what #1 has.
EGW ignition controls. Trigger set to break @ 4lbs. until it is ran in.
2 piece magwell
Wilson FLGR and hand fit bushing.
VZ grips with Pearce enhancement.
Lots of cool machine work by AllenM

It begines

Colors are different from #1's Cobalt and Titanium combo. #2 is Armorers black and Armorers grey. Roll marks have been removed.

Very distinct ball cut along the slide.

Flat topped. Serration treatment diff. than #1. Trij sights.

The lower edge of the slide has been relieved.

Finally picked up my new to me CZ 85 Combat!! It was a smooth and painless armslist deal that included the original grips and a nice leather holster. I will post some better pics when I get the chance. I’m on the way to Greenwood for the weekend and hoping to shoot it tomorrow afternoon. What is the best range around there?
