I've been rolling my own .45 for years. I'll occasionally buy a box when I'm running low and too lazy to go down to the shop and do some reloading. Reloading .45 is where I see my biggest savings. Right now, I'm able to reload .45 using my own brass, CCI primers, 4.6g Titegroup and 230g Extreme plated bullets for right around .14 a round. 9mm is a bit cheaper, but the savings there is not nearly as good and sometimes it's worth just buying 9mm so I can focus on reloading the more economical rounds.

What are you using for your 9mm loads?

For 9mm, I've been running 124g Xtreme plated bullets over something like 5.4 to 5.6g of Accurate #5. Don't quote me on that, as I'm working from memory. I think that I'm running about 7 cents a bullet, maybe 2.4 cents in powder and 3.3 cents per primer. That brings me to about $6.5 per box of 9mm where as I can sometimes find it for less than $10 if I don't mind aluminum cased ammo.

Perfecta 9mm ammo at Walmart is under $10 a box for brass cased ammo ;)
