No.... I am still in a 1911 coma. May be odd, but even will all the serious pieces at the last get together, the one that keeps coming back to my head is the Wizards beater 1911 with the Colt frame and Remington Rand slide.... Idk what it is.

Because it's one of a kind. We all like that.

Yeah, I felt the same way. But they are different. Kinda cool to have 16 without using a buffer on a mag.

Just mixing and matching isn't cool. The fact that his has a Remington Rand slide is what puts it over the top. You need to find a slide worth having.

I'm not sure... First time I've looked at these. I'll be watching it. I am already pricing out the tooling to do sight cuts for my Norinco. Have a mill/drill setup at work that should work perfect for it. One of these old slides would make another good practice piece.
