I ran across a pic of a full rail Loaded earlier. I'm not a fan of rails on a 1911 unless it's a full rail. It was .........

I have had a couple of full rails. I like them.

I picked up the two new to me surplus guns after work yesterday. I had to wait two hours for the USPS driver to arrive. I may have to modify my plans. The one I had intended for a special project probably isn't the gun for that. So, it looks like the search continues for the "right gun" for that particular project.
