I think I may have posted this in one of the past threads but I'm not sure.... Does anybody have any need of a 13 round XD 9mm sub compact magazine? I got rid of the gun a while back and during some unpacking from our move I found it, loaded with carry ammo no less. Anyway, if anybody has a need just let me know and I'll ship it your way.

I finally got around to swapping hammers between my P01 and 40P last night. If you remember, I got the Pro package for the P01 last summer, but had issues with the decocker. Namely, when I decocked the gun, the decocker would overtravel and stick until the hammer was pulled back. I swapped the factory hammer back into the gun and the issue disappeared. Since I have the full Pro package on my 40P, I thought I'd swap hammers to see if the issue stayed with teh gun or with the hammer. It stayed with the gun, so I have to assume that the hammer is fine. Next up, I'll swap the entire sear cage to see if that makes a difference. I'm thinking that it will. If the issue is in the sear cage, I need to figure out what is out of spec in there and then replace it with a new part.

If you swap the sear cage you might check the number on it! When they are assembled at the factory I think they have 3 different sear cages to choose from to get a good fit.

Thanks Losey, I had forgotten about that. I'm not looking forward to disassembing the cages to check each part individually and was hoping that I could just swap the cages intact. Sounds like I have a 1 in 3 chance of that working for me. I love working on CZs until you get into the sear cage of a decocker. There are more parts on that pin than my mind can keep track of.

Is it possible you have a weak decocker spring?

When I first started working on them the sear cage would give me fits!!! Now its not to bad but I agree with you that the decocker is one of the worsts, only second to a Phantom. It being a decocker along with the sear cage sub assembly into the polymer frame psyko
