Right now, my nightstand gun is a Sig railed nickel 1911 with a TLR-1 hanging off of it's nose. Here at the desk this morning, I've got the P01 in the holster and the SP01C attached to the underside of the desk with a magnet.

My only railed HD gun is the Phantom. I really would like to get either a steel SP01 or a P09 for the dedicated HD role. I want the Phantom to be able to come out to play once in a while.

Having said that, I just saw this:
ARMSLIST - For Trade: CZ SP-01 Phantom for trade

If you don't have a Phantom, get one. One of the best guns CZ has ever produced IMO.

    So, are you trading? :D

I bought that SP01C in .40 last night for $490 shipped. I'm happy with that price even if it does have a couple of minor cosmetic issues. A month ago, I was contemplating getting out of .40 mostly since I had all bases covered with just 9 and 45. Somewhere along the line I must have decided not to.

I looked for one of those for two years. The week after I got out of .40 two of them show up.

I'm already trying to decide what to do with the new .40 compact when it gets here. There is a chip on the polycoat, so I can rationalize that into the gun needing refinished. Right now, I'm thinking of doing a midnight blue with black cherry VZs and full cajunization. By noon, I'll probably change my mind though.

I want a commander sized 1911 in a bad way, watching Hickok45's videos on them probably doesn't help! Lol I need to stay off of Buds gunshop's website, Colt has several nice offerings in that size.

3 commander framed pieces. 2 are Bobbed. Did not appreciate the bob job until about a year ago.
