ChrisK's Mother passed.
She left him something in the estate to specifically use to get a nice firearm. What a mom.

I suggested he do a custom in her honor. Something only he would have.
He bought a brand new 9mm Springer RO. gave it to me and I collaborated with AllenM who did all the amazing machine work and re-color.
I fit up all the new stainless steel external controls and the EGW ignition controls. Also the barrel bush.
Trigger breaks crystal at 2 lbs 12 oz right now. Chris wants it just north of 3 lbs.
I am honored to do this.

They will go well on a certain stainless Springer that will be making its way back to the Fort, will just be residing in a different safe. I tried keeping that a secret, but I just couldn't keep it from my brother Travis...

Yes. She's been around. Having known that gun when it was stock, I just couldn't let it go... I needed a "shooter" 1911 to go along with the RR.

I use my P-09 as a HD gun with light so no holster. I do carry my P-07 in a Raven...

I actually made a IWB leather holster for my P09 when I had it. It wasn't pretty, but for my first time ever working with leather it functioned just fine.
