    I contemplated at one point but don't think I see myself every buying a 1911 in 9mm. Too many other good 9mm options out there and it is hard to beat a .45 1911.

    I just don't see the point except in the case of CM's spouse. She really does better with the additional weight of the 1911 frame and the lesser feedback of the 9mm.

    She really likes running it. I have been working with her on addressing the target at the line. She does not have the muscle mass she once had so addressing the line at the low ready, projecting the gun, 2 rounds and back to the low ready. Relax, breath, repeat.

    The progress is very noticeable.
