What colors did you go with?

I tried something a little different and I may regret it. I went with Midnight Green.

All one color? Sounds interesting. I would like to get my 97 cerakoted but have no real justification for it. Those funds would certainly be better spent on something else.

I had a CZ 85 done and it turned out really nice. I wanted to do this compact but wanted something different. I'm not a big two tone guy.

Yes, and AllenM does really superb work. The compact was also very well done I am just not so sure about the color I chose.

I was not either but it has grown on me. Both my MC-operators are 2 tone and me likey muchly........

Yours are both very nice and I can appreciate someone else choosing two tone. I just don't know if I want to go that route myself.

I would do a two tone if I got something done. Probably a shade of blue with a grey.

I have a friend that is ordering a Dan Wesson Discretion today. I am jealous. He is getting 9mm instead of .45 though.

I just went out and looked at it. At a glance it looks black but in sunlight you can definitely see the green. I think I can live with it. Especially since I just don't want to be without it again. Oh, that trigger. Man, oh, man, that trigger.....

I would not have either. He doesn't have anything in .45 and didn't want to add another caliber to stock.

Remember it is obvious when next to the midnight blue one. Subtle but you can see it.

I will get used to it. It is going to be my EDC for the most part. That was always the plan. She just needs some more rounds through her.

I am sure I will harass him about it. I have been trying to get him to buy a .45 for a year.

I contemplated at one point but don't think I see myself every buying a 1911 in 9mm. Too many other good 9mm options out there and it is hard to beat a .45 1911.

She really likes running it. I have been working with her on addressing the target at the line. She does not have the muscle mass she once had so addressing the line at the low ready, projecting the gun, 2 rounds and back to the low ready. Relax, breath, repeat.
