Based upon years of observation of people I have determined that the more you try to look like a badass the more you look like a dumbass.

People who are true badasses don't necessarily look the part.

People who try to look like badasses usually aren't.

    Just my :twocents:
 Good thing I always look like a dumbass....

Congrats!!! I get to start looking for a new job after 20 years in the same place. Hey, do you get to carry your steel-ringer at your new job?

Nope. It's a doctor's office that is affiliated with Franciscan Alliance, so no weapons. It's OK. I have never carried at work anyway.

I know the feeling about looking for a new job after a long time at the old one. I was at a job for 28 years when they did the "early retirement buyout" thing. I took it and had to start over.

I'd happily swap you for a 16 rounder, but I'm guessing that it would not be much shorter than the 18 you already have. I've never held an 18 round mag next to a 16 rounder. Anyone know if the body's are the same? If so, try an SP01 base plate to make it fit like it was built for your compact. That's how I carry mine when using the 16 round mag.

Most of my mags came from Greg Cote. The top 4 are the 16 rounders and fit flush. The middle is the 18, and has a gap about the size of my pinky finger. I like the 14s and 16s, but the 18 rounder just does not allow me to shoot the way I like. I would trade for a 14 rounder, a 16 rounder that fits flush, ammo, or $20.
