Hey BA, you still have those TFX sights on one of your CZs ?
I'm curious what the height of the rear sight is. From what I'm finding the 97 uses a lower rear sight than the 75 series. The only option for night sights is the Meprolights that I can find. Didn't you have a POI change after installing those TFX sights?

Mr BA, sir. Might I benefit from your vast CZ experience. I am having trouble reclaiming my p-01 from the wife. It seems a perfect opportunity to get a new one for myself. I am looking at ordering an omega convertible but wonder if I will like the omega trigger in this gun in the interim and if the omega interferes in any way with cajunizing the weapon. If I went the used route I could replace my (former)
gun quicker so I'm wondering if the omega would be worth the effort and wait (plus ordering from my local CZ dealer is a PITA)

My wife latched on to my Phantom as well. I had to get her a custom built 1911 in 9mm to get my Phantom back..........:):

The omega trigger is pretty decent out of the box. They are cheaper to cajunize from my understanding. However the convertible is a new thing, I wonder if it's the same system that's in the polymer guns?

    Morning Czickoos! :coffee:

Yeah, this gun was on for $100 less than the buy now, but since these are so rare, they're selling for even higher than what I paid, so I didn't want to take the chance with just a bid... :(

One had sold for $100 higher just that same day.

Congrats on the Legion Tom. I got to play with a couple of them down at the show yesterday and can see why you've fallen for them. They feel completely different than the standard Sig.

Okay, this is the barrel that is supposedly "shot out". I know the picture isn't very good but I don't see a problem. The seller said it has a "ring in the barrel". Not sure what that means.

I saw that one also and am guessing that by a 'ring' in the barrel, he means that the barrel is bulged a bit. I've seen that in a Colt 1908 and am guessing it was caused by a squib maybe.

Oh, BA and Mr Wizard, forgot to mention that the CZ booth at the show had CZ hats, so I grabbed one for you guys. I figured they would not mind my grabbing a couple of extras for the largest promoters of CZ ownership in the midwest.

Yes, with the TFX sights I have found that you have to cover your target with the front sight. The Wizard hates them. I am moving away from them for the sake of standardization since I can't get them for all models.
