Thank you gentlemen. When I got rid of all my CZs last year and then started to think about "starting over", the SP-01 and the 97 were the only two that I had to have. I have fulfilled that plan.

Morning DOGG. I passed out on you mid text last night... Woke up and it was still typed, but I hadn't sent it.

I went to bed at 2:30am (worked 2nd shift as you already knew) and woke up at 6:30am. Thank the lord for coffee. I had 3 more packages arrive yesterday and needed to clean the 97 before the range trip. I have so much to do this morning, there was no way I'm wasting it by sleeping.

Sorry, I'm a little juiced up right now.

I'm eventually going to get a rail for it later on. If you're up to it, I'd like to bring that down to the house of mouse for install.

I hate not getting much sleep. I woke up last night at 3:00, after having gone to bed around 10:30. After feeding a whiny cat, I was able to get back to sleep until just after 6:00. The way I felt when I woke up at 3:00, I am really feeling bad for you right now

I just ventured over to the CGW site because I know I will be replacing the factory plastic recoil spring guide rod. They offer a SS upgrade for $25.

I'm eventually going to get a rail for it later on. If you're up to it, I'd like to bring that down to the house of mouse for install.

I will do that for you sir. I love mine. It has almost displaced a few of the 1911's in the top 10 need to have want to have must have list.

I didn't realize this had a plastic guide rod like the SP-01 did. I found out when I cleaned it this morning. My only gripe about the factory setup.
