So here is my current thought session I'm in the middle of with what I have labeled "project Scarface". I have several options being internally debated.

    1) Send project "Scarface" to Allen for crack repair, front sight replacement (cut dovetail for newer style sight), and cerakoting, along with doing some minor CGW upgrades, probably end up around $650 - $700 total investment (includes initial cost of the gun).

    2) Return it to Buds and get a refund, use that money and the money I would have spent on repairs/upgrades towards a different gun altogether.
    Different gun options being considered:
    a) 75 nickel from CDI sales on GB
    b) P-01
    c) Rami
    d) other CZs, they're all good so the list could be long

    3) Return it to Buds, use the money for ammo, but thus leaving out an additional gun that I wanted to stash in the console of the car for additional firepower if the need every arose.

I know you guys probably think I'm nuts, but I can't help the way my mind works, it has to organize and justify the s**t out of every decision I make. Yes, I drive my wife insane, Rusty also.

Unkess there is is somehing special about that particular model, I would return it and get something else. $650-700 will get you something pretty decent. Indiana Gun Club had one of the urban grey suppressor ready SP-01 for $650.

Personally, I would get a pre-B from CDI instead of an A model. Imagine the Beast with a nice Cerakote finish.
