Man, I'm bummed. I really hope this Orlando shooting doesn't throw a monkey wrench in things like the Sandy Hook shooting did. I bought my first gun in April of 2013. I didn't start hitting the range until that November. I remember the cost of my gun was higher than it would normally have been and also that ammo was scarce and expensive for months after I started shooting. I think it was April or later before 9mm became more widely available and came back down in price. That was over a year after Sandy Hook.

I bought my first gun April 2013 as well. After Sandy Hook the fears of losing my 2nd ammendment rights were very strong which started me on this new hobby or passion. If only I would have started earlier I could have saved $$.
