    Ok, CZickos, gather around. Class is in session ;).

    The CZ 75 Compact is an all steel gun with a safety and no rail. You will occasionally find one of these guns with an alloy frame. These were the product of a contract between CZ and the IDF.

    The CZ 75D is normally a PCR (Police, Czech Republic). These are compact size guns with an alloy frame and a decocker. The PCR version does not have a rail. The PCR frame design is distinctive from the compact frame as the dust cover is designed differently.

    The CZ P01 is a compact size gun with an alloy frame, a decocker and a rail. Sometimes you find these with the CZ 75D rollmark. I don't know why.

    I just saw another rare bird. A CZ 75 Compact with a steel compact frame.....and a decocker. I have never seen one quite like it before.

    You will notice in the photo above it has the compact frame but has a decocker instead of a safety. I just thought it was interesting. :dunno:
