IGM's Baer has a very distinct feel to it. It's tight and precise and just feels rock solid in a way that my Ed Brown never did. I can find no fault in my EB, except that it feels just like every other 1911 I own. IGM's Baer felt like a high dollar 1911 though.

I find myself in the same place. There were a LOT of guns I'd love to own, but yesterday convinced me I'm very happy with what I currently have. I may pick up a Sig P938 at some point and I'd love to have a CZ SP-01 Shadow, but otherwise I'm happy for now :)

I was really happy with how mine shot yesterday. And, after shooting the 40P, I am focused on getting it again. I will be getting the 85 back this week and then, after the 40P and getting the ammo locker shored up a bit, I can start saving for the parts for the D I got last week. Once that is done I may look at having a couple cerakoted.

    Nice plan! :yesway:

I can honestly say that I'll really miss the 40P, but I know you'll take better care of her and I know that I'll be able to shoot her occasionally. I want first dibs if you decide to let her go again ;)

Yep. If it weren't for the weight, I would try to trade my CCO plus cash for one, but I like the reduced weight of the CCO too much :)

If you would rather hang onto it that is fine with me. I would love to have it but it isn't like I am CZ poor. ;)
