    Morning all... :coffee:

I'd forgotten about Protech. Too late in the day to ask the wife about it now. We already have plans to hit a park and hike most of the day. Guess I'll have to do the open house next year :(

:) I was disappointed when I found out it was a solo concert. Just him and his piano, but it turned out to be pretty damn good. Dude can rock.

I joke, but music is music. In fact, I would probably enjoy it a lot. I grew up on Elton, and I don't think I realize how many of his songs are part of my formative years.

BF and I were watching a Peter Frampton special the other night, and I was surprised that I could recognize all of the songs after a note or two and sing them word-for-word. I never was particularly a fan of Frampton's, but those songs are deeply ingrained in me because he was so popular in the 70's.

There's a lot of 80's music that's the same way for me. :):

Early Elton up to Yellow Brick rd. After that he lost me.

Peter Frampton's very very early music. 30 Days in the hole.

I do pity the kids today. In 30 or 40 years, they are going to look back on the music of their youth only to find crap from Bieber and Manoj. I don't think we are in a great time for music right now. Anyone remember Ian Hunter and Rod Argent?

What we are getting "Fed" is over produced dance recitals.
Some offerings are decent enough and musicians are still out there.

Funny how music tracks on most shows are still tracks from my youth.

    Yes, I remember both artists.
