Looked down today after I got home from getting gas and noticed that tank on the FJ is drooping down. Looks like one of the tank straps is broken. Got a couple of calls into my usual shop and one other place to see what costs would be to replace it. Everyone is slammed of course due to short week. Got the price from the dealership as the last resort just a minute ago.

Hopefully the others call me back, otherwise I'll just have to call the dealer back to order & pay for parts so they can at least get those headed this way so I might have a chance of getting it in and taken care of next week.
Ok, got in contact with Dan Jones automotive and they are going to try and work me in on Monday. If not it will get done Tuesday, but hoping for Monday. There goes my freedom to move around much this weekend. I was going to try and slip in a range trip if my back would allow it as I have Friday and Monday off.

WOW .... you gangsters are posting some fabulous stuff !

The best that I have today is an initial photo of my new fossil tooth/ comglomerate.
It came from what used to be underwater in Morocco .... about 4" X 5"
and features a tooth from this air-breathing marine reptile from the Cretaceous period.

What's exciting (to me, a pre-history nerd) are the other fossils included in the conglomerate.
I see a small jawbone ? with pointed teeth on the bottom, and a large bone ? on the entire left-edge. Guess who's going to try and dig those out ? ;)

I should mention two things: I was inspired to find my first fossil from a plesiosaur because of my visit to the museum with FH and (partial) family. @Firehawk
They had the skeleton of one hanging overhead in the Dinorama.

I'm thinking comforting thoughts for your family members, Firehawk .... the islands are not the place to be right now !
