    Yeah, for us 60 degrees would be shorts and t-shirt weather.
    That was us about 10 years ago when we transported our oldest (and all her worldly possessions) down to San Antonio over Christmas Break. We were helping her move her into her first apartment as she embarked on her first job out of college.

    At one point while we were out and about, I wondered out loud why so many people were wearing heavy coats, hats, scarves, etc. A local resident explained to me about their summers and being "Texas tough". I recently heard a similar story from my son's in-laws about why they live in Phoenix, AZ ... they endure the heat of the summer (about 1/4 of the year) so that they can enjoy the majority of the year playing outdoors.
