I learned something new. I didn’t know the SP01 could be fitted with the accu-bushing. I thought it was only an option on the bigger Shadow 2. But here it is. Stumbled on this browsing GB.

Instead of $350 and the 8-10 week turnaround, I think money is better saved/spent on the 10x bushing from CGW at $60-$70. It's improvement has been well documented and is a DIY install for many people.

Instead of $350 and the 8-10 week turnaround, I think money is better saved/spent on the 10x bushing from CGW at $60-$70. It's improvement has been well documented and is a DIY install for many people.

Agreed. My SP01 has the 10x already from the Wizard. The 10x will get put on my P01 at some point too. I was intrigued more by what’s possible than practical.

Morning Czickoos!

I'm getting the itch to tune my SP01 in .40. It's bone stock right now except for grips. Since it's a tactical model, it has a decocker, which should be capable of a better SA pull than a safety equipped pistol. I need to figure out what place than pistol has in the collection. Heck, I need to decide whether or not it should stay in the collection. It's a great duty gun but that base has been covered many times over. Maybe now is the time to Cajunize it, put a red dot on top and Cerakote it in some snazzy color. Or, maybe not.

Can't happen soon enough. I have baseball/softball fields that are ankle deep in mud. Suppose to open Friday.

I totally agree that the 10X bushing is a more affordable way to go on all but the CZ 97! I could be wrong but I think the 1911 bushing mod started on the CZ 97 to upgrade the stock screw in bushing that had reports of failing.

Now how is it that way up north is going to be warmer than southern Indiana? You will be hitting 70 degrees a day before we will be.


However, we'll be much warmer Sunday.
