The death of the bank lobby and human interaction....

Exactly ! That bank branch (one that I've used since I was a teenager !) closed their drive-up window about 2 years ago. Lately, they've only had about (2) tellers handling customers .... and now, this.
They just want to use your money, but not offer any real 'service' in return.

Thems been sold out since you where driving a Vette. :stickpoke:
I may be ill. I've been kind of enjoying the lack of need to accumulate another weapon. House will be under $36k this week and I'm looking forward to being able to save for a new bulldozer or a garage or a pond or. . . . .or. . . .

Find a small local bank or a credit union.

My main bank only has four locations. The trend is still there but at a much slower pace...

Fireproof safe bolted to the floor is about as secure and the county recorder will make legal copies of deeds and dd214's and such and keep them in perpetuity.

I've had zero interest in guns for a while now. They are tools ill never be without for sure, but the desire to collect, fondle, even go shoot, hasn't been with me for a long long time sadly.
I've enjoyed fishing, flying, travel and family

We have an additional account with Old National Bank. The contents of the safety deposit box will go straight to a new box with them. Unfortunately, their closest branch is twice as far from my house !

I am surprised it does not have a "no smoking while drinking" warning label.
It definitely doesn't take too much to get you there. Nor do you want to drink too much.
Last time I drank too much barrel proof bourbon, wife found me naked in the downstairs bathroom at like 3am. It wasn't a pretty sight lol
I guess that's better than naked In the street or something lol
