I have a question for the sinners amongst us. You know that gun brand that we won't mention? They made a model called the 17 and its first generation featured what type of slide finish? Were they all parkerized or ?

I have only seen two that I recall the slide finish for sure. One seemed to be parked and the other had a clearly non-factory gloss finish.

I'll admit to knowing little about rocket engineering, but back in the 70s no Saturn 5 rockets blew up and they let us drive cars on the moon.

They did treat the metal with Tenifer back then before changing to Melonite in order to save the world from the environmental dangers of the Tenifer process. Wasn't sure if they finished the slides after the treatment?

I just want to openly apologize to Churchmouse for what I bought today. I know he would be disappointed in me but I will try to make it up by buying a muzzle break for an SBR AR or something. If I do shoot "it", I promise to wear gloves and I will keep it away from the 1911s.
