I was going to look at a total remodel project as to installing a complete system. House is a shell. No heat at all of any kind.
I am reconsidering doing this today.
Might take the spouse to do the Christmas feast shopping. We are having her family at our place this year.

Morning folks!

What a cold December morning this is. It's not supposed to be this cold until later in January. I shouldn't complain though, as it's a relatively balmy 2 degrees in Greenwood. I should break out the Hawaiian shirt, cargo shorts and flip flops for taking the dog out this morning. Maybe not.

I've been on a WWII kick. There aren't many American movies, that I'm aware of, that are written from the Nazi perspective. It's rather intriguing seeing the other side depicted.

Have you watched 'Downfall' yet? It's one of my favorite movies even if watching it makes me realize that no, I don't understand German nearly as well as I imagine I do.

Being on shift to keep the wood stove rolling and a life of running on call HVAC-R service has me able to power nap when the opportunity presents.

Ever since I was a baby, I didn't nap. Drove my mom and my babysitter nuts. They never had any downtime because I wouldn't sleep.

The twins are this way. They will never stop unless we force them to.
This requires separating them in different rooms and myself and the spouse to lay down with them until they are asleep.
Once asleep they are out for the duration.
Since the Christmas tress have gone up even this will not work effectively.....
