I have been putting together some serious AR's lately. Very serious.

    Me too.
I'm in the process of acquiring parts for my suppressed SBR (still waiting on the ATF...) and I've been asked to build 2 more AR pistols with Dolos removable barrel and Law Tactical side folders... A.K.A. "lap top-AR" :rockwoot:

    My SBR parts so far:
    Geissle SSA-E trigger
10.5" Odin Works .223 Wylde 1/8 twist ultra light weight barrel (weighs 15.5 oz)
Silencer Co SpecWar muzzle break (for Silencer Co Omega supressor QD)
Magpul UBR 2.0 stock - these are due out next month
    45 degree short throw safety
Superlative Arms gas/piston - carbine length
    Fail Zero NiB BCG
forearm - undecided, but it will have M-Lok and light weight.
Optic will probably be a Holosun red dot

I would like to have a dedicated AR in .22LR

I've been very happy with the CMMG kit that I run in my ARs. It lets me run any one of them in the bays out at MCFG or plink the 100 yard steel. I've probably run 5x as much 22lr as .223 through my Colt SP1. The only issue I've had is with the M&P 15. I let the conversion kit get quite cruddy and it would not chamber in the tight M&P chamber. Lacquer coated steel ammo also does not like the M&P for the same reason.

    I have a CMMG conversion somewhere in a box......somewhere.....:):
I have a spec mag for it as well.......somewhere.
This might be a good day to dig it out.
