It has been quiet here today. I was having trouble sleeping last night, so I was up and connected to work around 5am today. That gave me time to mow the lawn one last time for the year before it got dark. I think that this is the latest I've had the mower out in the 22 years I've been in Indy. Now, all of the leaves are mulched and the grass is nice and short for the snow that's coming out way.

Evening czickos. Had a couple firsts today. I've never brought a new to me gun to the range without cleaning and lubing it. I hope that's why the AR pistol wasn't working properly.... And I've never before sold ammo for a gun I still have.

It appears the extractor is slipping off the case rim and not fully pulling it out before trying to feed the next round. My diagnosis at this point is that the extractor is gummed up with thick shipping lube. I'll tear into it later or possibly tomorrow.

Check the chamber for size. Pull the bolt and drop a spent case in the chamber. See if it goes in freely.

I will check those things mouse. Thanks. I should have cleaned the darn thing, but I wasn't planning on taking it shooting today. Just needed some therapy and it didn't turn out well.... I did get to see my old buddy T-DOGG. Brightened up my day, talking with him makes me seem normal. What a psycho.

I will need to look into the different AR trigger options when I go to build my other lower, which I've dubbed "Johnny Cash", cuz it's getting built one piece at a time.
