Not a compact fan in most any caliber just due to my hand size and shooting Technique. I have trouble with the Rami unless it has the longer mag in it.

I love my satin nickel compact. It has the best trigger of any gun I own. Tanfoglio makes an almost identical copy in .45 but you can't change the front sight without milling the slide and you can't do Cajun upgrades.

The Champion frame is about the smallest one I can deal with. The full size grip with a magwell makes it feel right to me.

You've shot my compact many times. Is that grip too small for you?

Yes. I can shoot it but really need more to hang onto. Just a personal thing.

I also find that with age my grip is not automatic. I have to concentrate on it for some reason now hence the Pearce finger enhancements.

I am running the CZ's so much better. Now id I could just get happy with that purty 97

Yeah, I think you will like it in time. Just not sure your patience with it will last.

The gun I am currently enamored with is my 75B in .40. The trigger turned out really great and is improving with rounds down the barrel. I didn't think I would like it this much but it's nice having just a little more thump than a 9 for winter carry.
