I'm going to guess that one of the folks here would be good to talk to about getting a slide milled and an adjustable rear sight installed ?

It seems to me that there are adjustable rears available through the CZ Custom shop. But, I could be wrong. If you have to get it milled then AllenM is your guy.

    Morning every one!
Hope you all had a great Christmas!
We had a very nice day opening gifts, eating, lounging, and watching movies.
Didn't really get anything gun related but I did get a Chris Kyle Foundation T-shirt and the American Sniper movie.

    Happy Boxing Day folks!

Missed out on a range trip this morning so I could go see SW again with my sons this time. My brother and a friend were shooting at PB Greenwood at 11 and I really wanted to make that trip, but seeing Star Wars again was just as much fun. Almost. Since it's rainy today, I think I'll go do some reloading instead of anything out doors. I need to get my .45 ammo stock back over 500 rounds. I have the parts, but just need to put them together.

Had a good time hanging out with TDOGG today. I brought a Ruger CMD home. He's working on a deal. Had burgers and fries. Was a damn good day all around. Got home and had a couple Tripp 1911 mags waiting for me. Now to figure out how to get the soundbar and speakers to work that pop and I got momma for Christmas.... We may need a 4 yr old....

    Pics to come later....

Thanks. I like it so far. I didn't get a chance to choose the best out of a couple as they only had one in stock. I checked it out, slide to frame is maybe only slightly more loose than my RO. The trigger rattles a little bit. Gonna try to go break it in tomorrow. Gonna be the new carry piece. Now what do I do with that RO???

Good friend of mine is finally giving in to my pestering. I've been hitting him up for months about this rifle. Later this evening I will be getting an M1A finally. Best news is I won't have to use my credit card to get it. It will be done with cash and some good ole horse tradin, you know the American way.

Keep it. It is hands down the better of the 2 1911's.

The metallurgy in the Springer is better than the Ruger.

Mine will be with me for a while. It goes on walks and drives with me a lot.
It is not something anybody would want to be in front of.

The Comp has been Ceracoated and the gun cleaned since the pic.
