Well, Warren just complained that she was told to smile more to get male voters to view her positively

Seems like she's imploding. That's an old school women's lib trope. She's watched "Mad Men" too many times. I'd love for both her and Bernie to disappear.

    DEMOCRATS HATE AMERICA

This won’t surprise anyone who has been paying attention, but there is a stark difference between the parties: Republicans love America, while Democrats can’t stand her. Rasmussen Reports has the numbers:

Democrats really don’t like America and think it’s time to move on from the culture that got us here.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 38% of Likely Democratic Voters believe American society is generally fair and decent. Fifty-one percent (51%) say it’s unfair and discriminatory.
By comparison, 74% of Republicans and unaffiliated voters by a 49% to 36% margin view American society as fair and decent.

That sums it up pretty well. If you hate your country, there is a party for you! You are a Democrat. If you love your country, you have only one plausible home: you are a Republican. Never has this difference been so clear. In 2020, pro-Americans will vote for President Trump and the Republican Party. Anti-Americans will vote for the Democratic nominee, whatever goofball that may prove to be, and for socialism, the most disastrous system ever devised.

The difference couldn’t be more stark.

If that report was given in 1930, with the same results, would you still say that Democrats hate America?

One can consider American society to be unfair and discriminatory, and still love it and try to change it.

In fact, there's a rationale that says that position requires greater love.

I have a gun that is blemished, is not easy to use, requires more maintenance than any other gun that I own, yet I love it.

What if your answer is to melt the gun down and use it to make something else?

That is not the choice I would make.

But, for someone else with the same issues with the same gun, if they wanted to replace parts to make it very different, that doesn't mean they love the gun less. It just means they want the gun to have other qualities. We can dislike or be offended by the choices, and that's fine. (I recall a recent thread here about a guy making significant changes to a well-respected rifle.) ;)

I see reactions like that post as further efforts to exacerbate our domestic differences. And perhaps set the stage for actual hatred and enmity.

I'm not trying to exasperate anything? There are those that would like to tweak things to make it more like they want, and there are those that want to transform this nation into something totally different. You're barking up the wrong tree if you want to paint me into that dynamic. Hatred takes way too much effort. I'm not wasting that on someone I merely think of as being ignorant and foolish.

    Crap.

I was unclear. The reaction in the post that posted the article and talked about Dems hating America. That's the reaction that I think begets more hatred and schism.

A gun analogy is a great reaction. Nearly all the time.

    Sorry about that!

The dumocrap party is way radical-left of where they should be. Hopefully the rational among them will see this and abandon them until they become more pro-America.

Transforming American society it to what exactly?

It could also be said the girl (mental state in question) that wants to change her new boyfriend into a carbon copy of the last boyfriend that used to beat her ass.

She thinks it will work this time.

I start by asking the idiot how many years he spent in the military and when.

If the answer to that is none of the above, my next word generally starts with an "F" and ends with "you, dickhead."

Most people don't even know what socialism is, even if it was taken out of their paycheck, but still talk about it like they know what it is... oh, wait... nevermind.
