In many relationships it is probably a good idea to stay away from radicals of any kind. The left has the majority of radicals now so you are probably right.

This sounds like postmondern "critical theory" style deconstructive questions. I'm pretty sure I would not see you raise such questions if the circumstances were flipped. It's one-way criticism for the sake of criticism which is how critical theory is mostly used by ideologues.
