He was in the live-action remake of Pete's Dragon a couple years ago.

He still kinda plays Robert Redford in movies.

Just saw a headline that Twitter is banning "libertarian" accounts.

My first thought: both of them?

Scared me. Had to go check and see if my account was okay.

So... I don't know what he's selling... but Macaulay Culkin is doing the rounds... going on various YouTube shows. He's live on Joe Rogan right now.

    Odd time to re-emerge.

Wait. I thought Jack just said people have to actualy break Twitter’s TOU to be banned. Maybe libertarian is in the fine print.

Maybe this is part of a cull of accounts that appear to be fake.

Not posting much of substance. Negative about everything. Lots of inconsistency.

But enough about Trump's account, let's focus on the libertarian thing.

Japanese voice actor Unshō Ishizuka passed away, had a lot of pretty prominent roles.

Voice Actor Unshō Ishizuka Passes Away at 67

Someone threw together a collage. Few of the big ones: Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop, Professor Oak of the Pokemon series, Mr Satan from Dragon Ball... he also did Japanese dubs of American films, voicing the roles of actors like Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne.

There're some lawyers here on INGO.

Wonder if they'd find "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law" entertaining...

I'm doing a re-watch of it right now. It's an Adult Swim animated show made in the early 2000s (during GWB). It features a ton of Hannah Barbera cartoon characters from way back in the day, "modernized". Birdman, for example, is a lawyer. Falcon 7 (now Phil Ken Sebben) is his boss at the law firm.

Lot of law jokes, lawyer jokes, court jokes, etc.

    Really quick humor, rapid-fire stuff.

Episodes are only 10m long... first season animation is a bit on the cheap side, but improves drastically over the four seasons.

Looks like it's getting a 30 minute special this year on Adult Swim. (The humor, if using ESRB ratings, would average in the "T" area... with some spillover into "M")

It really does hit on a lot of social, cultural and political issues of the time... in a pretty neutral and funny way.

Voice acting is pretty solid... Gary Cole plays Birdman... Stephen Colbert plays a bunch of characters, including Phil Ken Sebben... Paget Brewster, Lewis Black, John Michael Higgins, Phil LaMarr, Steve Mother****ing Blum, Billy West, Mark Hamill, and a ton of the original Hannah Barbara voice actors... also a ton of references that are way above my head that I'm sure some of the 40+ crowd would get.

S3E9, for example, is a gay marriage case featuring Race Bannon and Dr Benton Quest... that gets raised to The Justices League (SCOTUS, period accurate [not The Justice League]). Good stuff, good references, good time. Dick Cheney with a shotgun is a good time.

Also, Mentok the Mind Taker (Judge) is the best character.

Everyone should find that entertaining. Those were really pretty good... not as good as Sealab 2021, but still far better than The Brak Show.

    Truly.

I mean, here... Antonin Scalia and Dick Cheney assisting Judge Hiram Mightor in arresting another judge... just great chemistry.

(ignore the data on the bottom left, and the bad stillframe quality... I use an addon to boost the FPS of shows to 144hz. Good in-motion, bad still.)

This is definitely something of interest for INGO'ers.

    Bundyville

99% Invisible ran the first episode and it was really well produced and the reporter was actually there covering this stuff from the beginning... I'll be listening to the rest.
