    Yes, this thread is done.

Remember, you can vote your way to communism, but you'll have to fight your way out of it. And you won't have any guns, because the first thing communists do is take your means of defense.

Democrat=anarchist=communist=Marxist=socialist. All those'isms are contrary to the ideals embodied in the Constitution, and the enemy of free and liberty Loving people everywhere.

They plainly state their goals for "gun safety". Too bad many didn't do their research.

As in there are some states that don’t have an age restriction on marriage. If there is an 8 year old that doesn’t live in one of those states, they are free to challenge it in court I assume.

That is not true, every state has a minimum age. But it's unconstitutional according to the 14th ammendment, right?

I suggest you check your facts. Children can marry depending on the state. Further, there are plenty of laws on the books that are unconstitutional, they just haven’t been challenged yet. So in the states where children can’t marry, I assume someone would need to challenge it.... good luck finding that.

California is the only state with no minimum age, go figure. Why do you think there are laws that are unconstitutional on the books?

Because they archaic enough that they aren’t relevant anymore. They remain on the books, unenforced, until repealed. But back to kids getting married, plenty, and I mean a lot allow children to get married via certain waivers. Some states allow the waivers, some don’t.

I think there's room to come together provided he doesn't enact new gun controls, roll back tax breaks, increase regulation, increase corporate taxes, mess with the energy sector, pack the supreme court, push illegal alien amnesty, allow unfettered 'immigration' etc.

The unfortunate truth is that I could rephrase your post to "if Biden gives up his entire bucket list, we could come together."

Missed this gem. Basically, we could come together if Democrats don't pursue pretty much their entire platform.

I can appreciate Mike's optimism that something could still happen to upend this fraudulent election. There is a very good chance we are going to be stuck with what we got though. But hey, we survived 8 years of Obama and came out the other side with Trump. Who might we get after Harris? And beside that, Obama's presidency marked 8 years of record gun and ammo sales (which I was happy to participate in).

I am not sure we can survive 16 years of Harris. Make no mistake, Biden is nothing but a mule to get the unelectable Harris into the White House where it will be like the GWB administration in which Cheney was the defector president.

I’m not disagreeing with your point. It does seem well set up for the media to bring about circumstances to help install the candidate they wanted. It seemed evident from the beginning of the election that the media wanted Harris. Then Tulsi deconstructed her during the first debate. It’s quite possible Joe is destined to be 25th’d. But about the Bush administration, Cheney sort of acted as the defacto president in the first term. Bush distanced himself from Cheney in the second. I don’t think Cheney had as much power in his last 4 years. Biden, I’m sure, will have his ear bent heavily to Harris. Or, Idunno. Hell. Maybe Biden is just acting like the senile old fool he’s been throughout the election season, and he only brought Harris onto the ticket to become the WH ho.
