If the tasers have no effect on the heart (which, judging by the fatalities chalked up to them is a falsehood) then why does Taser International recommend against chest shots, as reported by one of the leading law enforcement risk management firms?

One thing I'd like to inject into this discussion - just for the sake of discussion. Does anyone else here besides the LEOs work in a profession that demands split-second, accurate, life-changing decisions, not just occasionally, but all the time, with your superiors (public, political, and judicial, in this case) constantly willing to second-guess those decisions, despite not having been there and judging by evidence and testimony from those adversely affected by those decisions, who have a vested interest in subverting the perceptions that those decisions were correct? If so, speak up so I can commiserate with you.
