No Republicans voted for the bill that created ObamaCare and don't forget the Republicans were under heavy political pressure by the Demoncrats AND their lapdog MSM when they "shut down the government" over the continuing resolution. I suppose being coerced into approving such a CR with a rhetorical gun to one's head could be construed as "supporting" ObamaCare.

I said they voted to fund it. It is a true statement.

The stupidity of the American voters that Gruber was expressing admiration for was on part of the supporters of obamacare.

He was not talking about the opposition to obamacare, they knew it was a lie and bull****……

Tomorrow I get to find out how badly I get screwed next year. By comments on Facebook made by coworkers in other depts that have already gone through the meeting, our health care costs are increasing substantially for less care. (less things covered, 50% higher deductable, 50% higher premiums, etc)

We all complain...yet we keep sending the same clowns back to do the job. Latest election shows we sent 93% of the incumbents back to DC, not to mention we voted in the worst president in the history of the nation....twice.

The American voter is apparently not the brightest bulb in the box. I think the real problem is that the stupid people now outnumber the non-stupid. After POTUS grants amnesty to 5 million illegals in a couple of weeks, that balance will be tipping more solidly toward the stupid.

The analogy doesn't work fer me. I'm allergic to peanuts.
As far as the ACA, it worked for my daughter. She earned a low income and couldn't afford med insurance until the ACA. YEMV

To be fair, I believe most politicians regardless of their label are similar to the academic circle in that they believe the masses to be unintelligent and must be managed and "educated" with that in mind.
