I think I've done one before but I did it differently than I normally do. Had a guy in Virginia who wanted my typical Gen3 pattern on a Gen4. I had my doubts as to whether it would look right but I think it turned out well. He also wanted the trigger guard and contact patches done which I don't always do.

    I used my Gen4 G23 for a couple of before/after pics.

    It makes it all grippy.:D

I handled one of p-dogs G-locks at the old Beech Groove store. It is not super aggressive and feels good for those of us with thick but, um, soft office hands.

I bet it smells like hell in your shop when you're doing something like that.
Looks like a good job. I thought it was a slip on grip or something at first.
    Thanks for the pics.

    Good lookin work right there.

FWIW - I've had Phylodog stipple two of my guns and I can tell you he does great work. The difference in texture (stock vs stippled) is like night and day.

It's just a pointed tip, nothing special. The trick is the spacing and depth of the "pores" that open up when you touch the tip to the polymer. Keeping the pattern random and keeping the "pores" consistent in size/depth is the challenge to doing it the way I do.

The finger grooves are the customer's preference. I can leave them or remove them as requested. The grooves fit my hand fine so my pistols still have them.
