    I'm not sure that posting pictures of foreign police officers (or even US cops) is in the spirit of this thread.
    The US is one of the very few countries where you don't need to be part of the police or the military to legally carry a gun.
    That's the beauty of it and a great display of freedom to see a private citizen carrying a gun.

    Outside of their conscription Israelies are not allowed to own or carry weapons in public, certainlly not military style weapons like that.
    They are just off duty and not in uniform but other than that they carry weapons just like any soldier on the planet.
    Nothing special about it.

    Not only is she a symbol of freedom, she's got her scope mounted far enough forward to have her head in the correct position when shooting an AR (nose to charging handle).
