I can understand why nobody would "bump" this thread, but it baffles me that nobody needed Andy's Ruger to 'scratch an itch' for 2 weeks.

So Andy219 brings in some guns to play with and a bunch of us are sitting around looking, playing, etc. A customer walks in and stops to chat, he likes 1911s. So Andy shows him the brand spanking new Ruger 1911 he just picked up.

The guy is admiring it and then starts talking about holsters . . . or the lack thereof, and then demonstrates his preferred carry method.

So here is the question, how much scrubbing does it take to disinfect a gun that has been in contact with a stranger's junk?
