Down here we're getting snow, then sleet, then rain, then sleet, then more snow...for the next 2 days or so. Then repeat next Tuesday.

I don't mind the snow, but this freezing rain stuff sucks.

Snow Report from Brown County

It's been snowing off and on much of the afternoon. Small flakes. There's not enough on the ground to even cover the grass yet.

I may get to go to the Tipton gun show afterall!

Will you go out and stock-up on food and needed items?

why do people run out and buy food at the first hint of snow?None of us are going to starve to death. And i think EVERYONE has at least a weeks worth of food on hand. Just seems silly is all.

We have food, but I did make a beer and bread run on the way home last night. Mijers was a zoo last night.


Stupid snow and snow blower. This stuff is way to wet for the blower and keeps clogginng the shute.

The drive way looks to have about 3~4 inches in spots.

Snow here in Terre Haute. Went to walmart last night for a stock up of snow booze. IT WAS A MAD HOUSE. Oh well...i guess its kinda like a free show. lol

A friend of mine lives down there she said meijer was a madhouse as well!!!! Glad Ive been stocked up and I got a 4x4! Its gtartin to get "bad" here I suppose.

That everyone forgot how to drive.
That everyone packed Kroger like the Earth was ending.
That everyone raided the liquor stores like it was 1999.
That we lost power for 3 hours because some idiot thought his 4x4 was invincible on the snow and ice.

I was driving to my in-laws this evening and there was a car stopped right in the middle of my lane, no flashers on. It was hard to even tell she was stopped till you were right on her. I stopped to see if she needed help and she said she was just waiting for her mom and dad to come and get her, I said you need to at least turn your flashers on.

She looked like she was pretty young maybe 16.

I got the truck sideways going to get Cathy. They still hadn't got the streets cleared by then (probably not by now, either.) Me and Sean are puttering down the road, doin a mighty 20 or so, when I felt the rear wheels break free. Truck gets sideways, I fix it. Sean goes "Dad, were we just out of control?" LOL. "Naw, but we were sliding a bit."

Down here -about 3" and still coming down.YAY!! No pun intended-I love snow.Grand Cherokee and me will be playing tomorrow-maybe I'll be really lucky and wake up to 10-12" tomorrow,but 3" is still good enuf.

Yea, well, I get to have my truck towed to the shop in Frankfort tomorrow to have the engine rebuilt. This stuff will be melted by the time I get it back. And watch, this will be the last snowfall or at least the last GOOD snowfall. I hope it turns around and snows 3 feet the end of Feb. when I have my engine broke in.
