Lawrence has declared a snow emergency, roads are closed to the public. Working from home tomorrow.

Sippin on some syzzer.(not realy), just coffee. This is not that bad. Tickets for being on the road ... Stupid. If you wanna be a dumb ass you should be able to be. Emergency personnel will be out and about regardless. If they can't get to you before you freeze then so sorry it's your fault.

Finally started snowing here not too long ago. We got over an inch of rain today so that'd probably have translated to 6-8" if it had been cold enough. It's still about 31F here.

Temp keeps dropping pretty rapidly. You could feel it getting colder.

How can any agency give a ticket to someone driving in these situations? Most people will have no clue an emergency has been declared. Now if they get stuck and need assistance, they should have to pay for it. IF it can manage to get to them at all.

So "most" people don't watch the news, read the news, listen to the radio? I've seen travel warnings on the news multiple times today.

Bartholomew county went to a watch status on the map and I don't think it's essential I try to go to work tomorrow. Hope the power stays on.

The Wind is starting to pick up and blowing at a decent clip south of Martinsville. We've gotten about 10" or so today. Temps dropping as well.
Spent about 2 1/2 Hrs earlier today on the tractor clearing my drive and my neighbors as well. I know I'll have to do it again in the morning, but it won't be all that heavy wet stuff.

The wind has been picking up about the last hour. I figure we got 10"-12" today. Shoveled the driveway twice, my son and I went over to Mom and Dad's to get their's clear before the temp drops ridiculously. Dad is 80, if I don't get over there to shovel the driveway he'll be out there.

Cleared the drive and walks about 3 hours ago. They have more than another 2" on them now.
